Leevo Terms of Use
Last updated: June 14, 2026
These Terms of Use govern your download, installation, and use of Leevo. They form an agreement between you and Ninoska Cairos, an individual developer trading under the Leevo name ("Leevo", "developer", "we", or "us"). If you do not agree, do not use Leevo.
Nothing in these Terms limits rights that cannot legally be excluded, including mandatory consumer rights.
1. Developer and Contact
- Legal form: Individual developer / natural person; no registered company.
- Legal name: Ninoska Cairos
- Email:
nino.zip94@gmail.com
The developer's legally required identification and postal-contact details are provided in the Leevo Legal Notice and are not repeated here to reduce unnecessary exposure.
2. Distribution and System Requirements
Leevo 1.x is distributed directly outside the Mac App Store as a signed and notarized macOS app. The applicable compatibility requirements, supported macOS versions, features, and price are those clearly displayed on the Leevo website and at checkout before purchase.
Some features require compatible hardware and macOS permissions, including Screen Recording, Accessibility, Camera, and Microphone permissions. You are responsible for reviewing these requirements before purchase.
3. Licence
Leevo is licensed, not sold. Subject to these Terms, you receive a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, and revocable licence to install and use Leevo on Apple-branded devices you own or control.
You may not copy, distribute, rent, lease, sublicense, sell, commercially redistribute, circumvent licence or entitlement checks, interfere with security, or reverse engineer Leevo, except to the extent such restriction is prohibited by applicable law.
Leevo, its software, branding, design, and documentation remain owned by the developer or applicable licensors. No rights are granted except those expressly stated.
4. Your Content and Recording Responsibilities
You retain ownership of recordings, media, projects, edits, custom watermarks, and exports you create with Leevo. Leevo does not claim ownership of your content.
You are solely responsible for obtaining all rights, licences, notices, and consents required to record, capture, edit, use, and share content. Laws may require consent before recording people, calls, meetings, screens, windows, protected works, or confidential information. Leevo does not determine whether your recording or publication is lawful.
You are responsible for maintaining backups of important recordings, project files, and exports.
5. Acceptable Use
You must not use Leevo to:
- Violate law or another person's intellectual-property, privacy, publicity, confidentiality, or other rights.
- Record or distribute content without required rights, notices, or consent.
- Create, distribute, or facilitate unlawful or harmful content.
- Circumvent payment, activation, entitlement, security, or technical restrictions.
- Disrupt Leevo, RevenueCat, Paddle, or related services.
6. Free Features, Referral Program, and Credits
Leevo may provide free features, exports containing a Leevo watermark, and limited promotional credits for watermark-free exports. At launch, Leevo currently grants up to five promotional watermark-removal credits per calendar month, stored locally on the Mac. Leevo may also provide referral credits when a valid referral code is created, shared, redeemed, or otherwise used according to the referral flow shown in the app. The current allowance, referral balance, and referral rules shown in the app control if they differ.
Free credits and referral credits are promotional app-use credits only. They have no cash value, are not transferable, cannot be exchanged for money, cannot be sold, and do not create a paid licence or stored-value account. They may be capped, expire, reset if local app data is deleted, fail to sync if backend services are unavailable, or be changed or discontinued for future use. Changes do not affect mandatory consumer rights or a purchased Leevo Pro licence.
Leevo may limit, refuse, withhold, reverse, or revoke referral credits or referral rewards where reasonably necessary to prevent abuse, fraud, self-referrals, repeated redemptions, artificial installations, technical manipulation, breach of these Terms, or legal risk. Referral links and codes do not guarantee that either side will receive credits.
7. Leevo Pro
Leevo Pro for Leevo 1.x is a one-time purchase, not a subscription. It grants access to the Pro features made available for the Leevo 1.x major-version family. A "lifetime" or "one-time" licence means for the supported commercial life of Leevo 1.x, not the lifetime of the user, developer, or any particular device.
Future major versions, such as Leevo 2.x, may be sold separately. The exact product, price, currency, included taxes, and features shown at checkout apply to your purchase.
Online activation is required after purchase. After successful validation, Leevo may permit offline Pro use for a limited period using a Keychain-backed entitlement cache. Continued offline availability is not guaranteed indefinitely.
8. Purchases, Paddle, and RevenueCat
Paddle acts as the merchant of record and authorised reseller for Leevo Pro transactions completed through Paddle Checkout. This means you purchase the product from Paddle, Paddle charges you, handles applicable transaction taxes and receipts, and applies its Buyer Terms and Refund Policy to the transaction.
RevenueCat provides the hosted purchase-link and entitlement-validation infrastructure. Leevo uses a RevenueCat anonymous App User ID tied to the installation to associate and validate the purchase.
After checkout, you may need to return to Leevo and select the activation or restore action. If Paddle or RevenueCat reports a refund, chargeback, fraud, invalid payment, or missing entitlement, Leevo may suspend or revoke Pro access and delete the offline entitlement cache, subject to applicable law.
9. Refunds and Consumer Rights
The Leevo Refund Policy forms part of these Terms. Paddle handles transaction refunds and statutory withdrawal requests. Nothing in these Terms or the Refund Policy limits mandatory rights relating to withdrawal, conformity, repair, price reduction, termination, or refunds.
Consumers in the EU/EEA, Switzerland, and the United Kingdom may have a 14-day statutory withdrawal right for certain digital-content purchases. That right may be lost once access or use begins if, during checkout, the consumer expressly consents to immediate supply and acknowledges losing the withdrawal right. Paddle's checkout records and Refund Policy govern the transaction process.
10. Updates, Changes, and Availability
Leevo may provide maintenance, compatibility, or security updates for Leevo 1.x. You should install updates reasonably required to keep the app secure and compatible. New features or upgrades beyond conformity requirements are not guaranteed.
Leevo may change or discontinue free features, referral features, promotional credits, and download or install analytics. Leevo may modify paid features where reasonably necessary for security, legal compliance, compatibility, or technical operation. Any modification affecting consumers remains subject to mandatory law.
Leevo depends on macOS, hardware, permissions, RevenueCat, Paddle, Supabase, Vercel, and other third-party systems. Temporary interruptions may occur.
11. Support
For app support, contact nino.zip94@gmail.com. You may be asked for your macOS version, Leevo version, RevenueCat App User ID, referral code, purchase email, transaction details, or other information reasonably needed to investigate. Never send full payment-card details or passwords.
12. Disclaimer
Leevo is a creator tool and does not provide legal, copyright, privacy, tax, or platform-compliance advice.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Leevo is provided "as is" and "as available". This does not exclude any warranty, conformity obligation, or remedy that cannot legally be excluded.
13. Liability
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where doing so would be unlawful, including liability for fraud, wilful misconduct, or mandatory consumer rights.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the developer is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, lost profits, lost business, or loss of data that was not reasonably foreseeable. You remain responsible for backups and for checking recordings and exports before relying on them.
14. Termination
You may stop using Leevo at any time. The developer may suspend or terminate access where reasonably necessary because of material breach, fraud, security risk, legal requirement, refund, chargeback, invalid payment, or loss of entitlement. Where legally required and reasonably possible, you will receive notice and an opportunity to remedy the issue.
Termination does not affect rights and obligations already accrued. After termination or refund, you must stop using paid features, but your locally stored content remains yours.
15. Governing Law and Disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of Spain, without depriving consumers of mandatory protections available under the laws of their country of residence. Courts will have jurisdiction as determined by applicable law.
Before filing a claim, please contact nino.zip94@gmail.com so the issue can be investigated. This does not restrict your right to contact Paddle, a consumer-protection body, a data-protection authority, or a competent court.
16. Changes to These Terms
The Terms in effect when you purchase Leevo Pro govern that purchase, except where a change is required by law or is accepted by you. Updated Terms may apply to future use or future purchases. Material changes will be communicated where required.
